Het is voor mij abosoluut geen optie om een donorcodocil in te vullen. Niet dat ik tegen orgaan donatie ben, maar ik heb een ervaring opgedaan met een familielid in diep coma na een autoongeval. Zwaar hersenletsel was de diagnose. pupil reactie waren er niet en ook de eeg bleef dagen lang een vlakke lijn, niet meetbaar. Mijn moeder bleef 3 maanden in coma en al die tijd hebben de dokters ons verzekerd dat ze alleen nog een vegetatief leven voor zich had. Toen ieders verbazing kwam ze uit coma en zelf de diagnose dementie werd na 7 maanden achterhaald.

Het herstel was zeer langzaam en het kwam nooit meer 100 % goed, maar ze leefde nog wel 25 jaar.

Dit is voor mij een reden om geen codecil in te vullen. mijn angst dat ik voortijdig van de machines wordt gehaald en hersendood verklaard terwijl dit nog een behoorlijk duister gebied is vind ik veel te groot.

This autumm I start editing my second book

This time I write about older people who are trying to cope with Alzheimer in their lives.

Those stories I wrote for my exam of the master education degree Useful Care.
Dr Cora Van der Kooy was the one who inspired me to write stories about the practical treatment of Alzheimer disease.

The daily struggles and how to treat people is what is been described.
The difficulty in contact and the emotional contact with my patients.

For the last three years there was a small possibility that my stories were going to be published.

Finally, they are now ready for publication

The book is the second one in line for and from nurses by supervision of the IMOZ (Instituut Voor Maieutische Ontwikkeling Zorgpraktijk) and in cooperation with Dr Cora Van der Kooy

The dream With a lot of help from Bill I made my fist poembook. The book contain 3 captures with poems and 5 short stories. 4 years ago I had a exposition of my poems in the local Libary. I recieved lot of reactions on that one. I started realise that my poems are touching other people and their lives. The Book "My first book is called: "the oister is closed" It has 4 captures The poems in "Circle of life "Are written about all facts of live. The highlights but also the deepth the thema are love Loyalty pregnancy kids flying out "Between my walls" are about poems of crisis ( big or small) in our lives thema’s are nature diaster coma icequeen between your walls Next capture is her ship on the water" and holds poems for the end of life or whe nyou say goodbye here the thema’s are; it seems to be over, silent, musicbox, her ship on the water the book ends with a 5 stories about reality in the past when i still lived with my parents or if when you are getting old and depanding on others for health and care July 2005 the book is publised by Peacock Publications Adaleide Australie with ISBN nummer: 1-921008-12-1 It is become a gem of a poembook. It has the warm glowing that I wanted to be . I can barely realise that my dream came tru and i am very gratefull to the fabulous help of Mr Bill and John from Peacock Publications. The way nature comfort me. But also the highs and lows of life. All is a source of inspiration voor a poem. Poems that let you stop and smell the roses and realise how special life is for you

He taught me what it meant to realise my dreams.
And he made it possible by hard work and taught me to hold on to my dreams.
